Can you imagine a world
without computing devices, and more specifically, laptops? Well, with ‘BYOD’
trending, it’s tough and horrifying. We can never do without these machines.
Yes, our cruel habits sometimes
make the devices toil so hard that they break down often, leading to misery.
Even if we try and be gentle with them, an issue or two are bound to crop up anytime.
Call it a machine glitch or your negligence toward the device, these issues can
be big troubles and need immediate attention, no matter what. While most of
these problems will require you to call up an expert or a laptop service centre in Kolkata,
there are some others, which you can fix on your own. Like –
Problem
# 1: When your charger cables fray:
Because it’s our nature
to keep plugging in and plugging out many times a day, the cable-connector duo
can take a backseat, resulting in fraying. Get a new cable asap, because,
otherwise, the fray will end up damaging the battery. Who knows, the device may
even explode due to intermittent charging as well.
Quick
Fix: Roll duct tape over the fray. A more durable
solution will be to use silicone sealant which will not only protect the cable,
but also work as an insulator.
Problem
# 2: When the casing cracks:
If you have
butterfingers, your machine will surely have cracks on its casing, especially
on the corners. Under more unfortunate cases of a combat with gravity, the entire
casing may shatter completely. You might want to call an expert. But, here’s a
DIY trick to manage such cracks – use putty. Apply it on a clean surface after
you have gathered the loose pieces. After the putty hardens you can apply paint
to match this area with the colour of the casing.
Quick
Fix:
Play dough works equally well. And, during emergencies, a temporary solution is
to put a Band-Aid on the crack.
Problem
# 3: When the device gets heated up very often:
Usually, a bad cooling
fan is the culprit. A simple cleanup of the dust, dirt and debris should
resolve this issue. Blowing compressed air into the grill slots can help you
clean the clogged dirt.
Still and all, there are certain problems you cannot do anything about. Get a professional’s help if these issues persist. And, if nothing else works, considering replace the machine itself.
Good work. Good to read and gain knowledge. we are into servicing of electronic products and this will help us to update ourselves. Thanks again.
